Editorial Policies


IAML AND SCOPE

International Asia Of Law and Money Laundering  (IAML) is an open access and peer-reviewed journal that aims to offer an international academic platform for cross-border legal research in multiple governance policies and civil rights law, particularly in developing and emerging countries. These may include but are not limited to various fields such as: civil law, criminal law, constitutional and administrative law, customary institution law, religious jurisprudence law, international regime law, legal pluralism governance, health law, economic lawand some of the health and economic another section related to contemporary issues in legal, healt and economic scholarship.


PUBLICATION ETHNIC

International Asia Of Law and Money Laundering  (IAML) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Faculty of Law Hasanuddin University. The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. All authors submitting their works to the journal for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. This statement is based on Elsevier's Policies and Ethics and COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication. The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal of International Asia Of Law and Money Laundering is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher, and the society.

The Association Of Experts Of The Law Of Money Laundering Indonesia as the publisher of IAML takes its duties ofguardianship over all stages of publishing seriously and we recognize our ethical behavior and other responsibilities. 


TASK EDITOR

The decision about the Publication of the Article

The chief Editor of the IAML responsible to decide on the articles submitted to the journal for publication. The Editor may be guided by the policies of the editorial board of the journal and are subject to the requirements of the law such as defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The Editor may confer with the editor or other reviewers in making this decision.

Review Script

The Editor must ensure that each manuscript is initially evaluated by the editor / co-editor, who can use the appropriate software to check the originality of the contents of the manuscript and after passing this test, the manuscript is forwarded to the two reviewers for blind peer review, and each will make a recommendation to publish the manuscript in its current form or to be modified or rejected. Review period duration of two weeks to one month (Maximum of two months in exceptional circumstances).

Disclosure and conflict of interest

Unpublished material disclosed in a manuscript submitted should not be used by anyone who has a view about the manuscript in his own research without written consent of the author.

Fair game

The manuscript should be evaluated solely on their intellectual abilities without considering the race of the author, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.

Confidentiality

The chief Editor / editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a manuscript that was sent to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, editorial advisory other, and the publisher.

 

THE TASK OF THE REVIEWER

Speed

In that case, each of the reviewers felt that it is impossible for her to complete review of manuscript within the specified time then the same must be communicated to the editor so that the same can be sent to other reviewers.

Confidentiality

Information regarding manuscripts submitted by authors should be kept confidential and treated as privileged information.

Standards Of Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively. There will be no criticism of the personal of the author. Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Acknowledgement Of Sources

Reviewers should identify the published work relevant that has not been cited by authors. Any statements that have been previously reported elsewhere should be accompanied by the relevant citation. The reviewer should also ask to the Editor everything in common substantial or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and other texts published that they have personal knowledge.

Conflicts of interest

Reviewers should not review manuscripts that have a conflict of interest as a result of competition, collaboration, or relationship or other connection with the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

 

THE TASK OF THE AUTHOR

Reporting standards

Research reports of the original Author should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as discussion of the objective significance. Underlying Data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. A manuscript should contain the detail and references to allow others to replicate the work. False statements or knowingly inaccurate constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.

Access and Reference

The author may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for review editorial, and should be prepared to provide public access to such things, if it can be done, and must, in any case, get ready to store such data for a reasonable time after publication.

Originality and Plagiarism

The authors should ensure that they have written original works entirely, and if the authors have used the work and /or words of others this must be cited or quoted appropriately.

Various Publications

An author should not in general publish manuscripts essentially describing the same research in more than one journal or publication main. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is the behavior of the issuance of unethical and unacceptable.

Acknowledgement Of Sources

Recognition of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the work reported.

Manuscript

Authorship should be limited to those who have contributed significantly to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research reported. All who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-author. Where there are others who have participated in the substantive aspects of certain of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose in their manuscript they any conflict of interest financial or other substantive that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of the manuscript to them. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Fundamental errors in Published Works

When a writer find an error or inaccuracy is significant in his work published, is the obligation of the author to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.

IAML do not allow any form of plagiarism. Plagiarism is considered a serious breach of scientific ethics by the entire scientific community. Incidents of plagiarism in a manuscript or a published paper whether detected or reported, will be dealt seriously. We continue to support the advice and receive advice from the Editorial Board and Reviewer ofus to avoid malpractice ethics of publication.

 

PLAGIARISM AND RETRACTION

In this case the author meant stated:

  1. That the manuscript is original and its publication does not violate any copyright.  
  2. That the manuscript has not been published previously, in whole or in part in the journal or company scientific publishing anything.  
  3. The script never/not entered into in the process of publishing the journal.  
  4. That the authors listed, is committed in making the manuscript/paper. 
  5. That the authors agreed to be published in International Asia Of Law and Money Laundering (IAML) 

 

JOURNAL HISTORY

The journal contains research articles or articles conceptually about the approach of the study/ or ideas from different disciplines covers the legal, economic, and health. International journal of Asia Of Law and Money Laundering (IAML) Multidisciplinary is the container of joint publication, Scientists Humanities,economics and health, as well as SCIENCE and technology that aims to develop human civilization into a better direction, among others:These may include but are not limited to various fields such as: civil law, criminal law, constitutional and administrative law, customary institution law, religious jurisprudence law, international regime law, legal pluralism governance, health law, economic law and some of the health and economic.The Association Of Experts Of The Law Of Money Laundering Indonesia as the publisher of IAML takes its duties ofguardianship over all stages of publishing seriously and we recognize our ethical behavior and other responsibilities.The journal is published 4 times a year, namely in March, June, September and December.
